The steel industry that once defined Pittsburgh has dwindled, but, increasingly, research facilities and a boom in technology manufacturing have kept the Pennsylvania city’s economy humming, . The city’s residents aren’t in such great financial shape, though, due to high credit card debt. According to Lending Tree’s scoring, the city was the 35th-most maxed out in the country.
